Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time
Location: Muskegon, MI
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time
Location: Muskegon, MI
Why This Role Is Different
Hackley Community Care is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and patient-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our Community Care Pharmacy team. Unlike a traditional retail pharmacy setting, our pharmacy operates as part of an integrated care team within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), working closely with medical providers, nurse care managers, behavioral health, dental, and support staff to ensure patients receive the medications and services they need.
We serve diverse community-based populations throughout Muskegon County and surrounding areas, including individuals and families facing barriers such as medication costs, insurance challenges, transportation issues, refill gaps, limited health literacy, and difficulty navigating the healthcare system.
In this role, you will help patients access medications, navigate insurance and prior authorization challenges, coordinate refills, support medication synchronization, and reconnect patients with their care team when needed. As part of an integrated pharmacy program within a Federally Qualified Health Center, you will contribute to a whole-person approach to care that emphasizes access, affordability, continuity of care, and improved health outcomes.
This position is ideal for a high-performing technician who values accuracy, communicates effectively, enjoys problem-solving, and wants their work to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.
