Production Technician

Purpose of the Role

The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for hands-on assembly of products while supporting product quality, testing, and efficient daily manufacturing operations. This role helps increase production capacity, maintain quality standards, and solve day-to-day production issues in a small, hands-on team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Assembly

• Actively participate in product assembly and daily manufacturing activities.
• Follow production schedules and priorities to support on-time delivery.
• Operate, set up, and adjust tools and equipment as needed.
• Support packaging and shipment preparation when required.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Quality & Testing Support

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections according to defined procedures.
• Identify supplier or component quality issues early, contain affected material, and support corrective actions.
• Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Assist with product testing and verification activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and workflow.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment.
• Basic math skills for measurements, quantities, and routine calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to take ownership.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• Flexibility to support changing business priorities.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
