Job Description
Purpose of the Role
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for hands-on assembly of products while supporting product quality, testing, and efficient daily manufacturing operations. This role helps increase production capacity, maintain quality standards, and solve day-to-day production issues in a small, hands-on team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Assembly
- Actively participate in product assembly and daily manufacturing activities.
- Follow production schedules and priorities to support on-time delivery.
- Operate, set up, and adjust tools and equipment as needed.
- Support packaging and shipment preparation when required.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Quality & Testing Support
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections according to defined procedures.
- Identify supplier or component quality issues early, contain affected material, and support corrective actions.
- Support root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Assist with product testing and verification activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and workflow.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production environments.
- Hands-on mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and equipment.
- Basic math skills for measurements, quantities, and routine calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to take ownership.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Flexibility to support changing business priorities.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
