We are looking for an enthusiastic Expeditor to join our team! You will play a critical support role focused on maximizing the efficiency and productivity of the entire print floor. As the Expeditor, you will act as the central hub for workflow, ensuring every operator is fully supported with a steady stream of organized, ready-to-run jobs. You will be responsible for the physical movement of all Work-in-Progress (WIP), monitoring job progress against tight deadlines, and communicating proactively to help prevent bottlenecks before they impact production. Success in this role comes from strong organization, logistics coordination, communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while supporting the overall success of the team.
Shifts available: Monday - Wednesday 6:00am - 6:00pm (36-hour work week - three 12-hour shifts with a rotating schedule every 4 months. Overtime Eligible.)
A variety of these traits will help land you this job if you have:
- a High school degree, GED, or equivalent work experience required

1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment such as print production, manufacturing, or warehouse logistics
On top of that you must:
- be efficient at multitasking, ensuring multiple complicated projects are being supported
- have strong attention to detail and have a high level of accuracy
- quickly adapt to changing priorities; ability to work in a fast paced environment
In this position you'll:
(Workflow Coordination & Material Staging)
- ensure a constant and efficient flow of work throughout the facility by physically moving products between departments according to the job routing map
- strategically stage jobs at each production center, organizing the queue based on priority, due dates, shipping methods (e.g., overnight, customer pickup), and machine efficiency (e.g., grouping by size)
- pull, prepare, and deliver all necessary raw materials and shipping supplies to operators, ensuring they have everything needed to reduce wait time and begin tasks immediately
- respond promptly to operator assistance alerts (e.g., Andon lights) to troubleshoot workflow interruptions and keep production moving
- properly merge and consolidate job components, such as book covers with interiors or partial reworks with original runs, ensuring all parts of an order travel together
(System Tracking & Job Prioritization)
- use a handheld scanning device to maintain accurate job tracking within the production management system collaterate and ensure every order is accounted for at its precise physical location on the floor
- continuously monitor the production schedule to track orders against delivery goals and adjust priorities based on real time production needs
- develop a strong understanding of production flow to anticipate department needs identify potential bottlenecks and ensure products move to the next step on time
- verify all system entries and associated paperwork are complete and accurate before transferring jobs to the next stage of production
- work closely with the bindery team lead to align daily job priorities and help balance operator workloads to meet production goals
- follow up with each department to confirm they have the orders and materials needed to complete work efficiently and on schedule
(General Duties)
- assist in various projects and perform other tasks as requested by management to support the overall goals of the production department

Compensation Range: $38,376 – $44,928 annually
*Range reflects our good-faith assessment of our hiring range for this role based on market conditions, experience level, and internal equity considerations.
