Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Programming & Prototyping Supervisor! In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing all programming and prototyping activities within the Fabrication department. The primary function of this role will be to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, meeting deadlines, and upholding quality standards. By effectively managing programming and prototyping processes, you will be responsible for contributing to the overall efficiency and success of our production operations. You will identify the need for additional resources and work to provide proper staffing as needed. You will oversee the Programming and Prototyping efforts, learning the process to become the subject matter expert for training purposes. This position handles various functions in partnership with the Production Manager, including progress reviews, staff development, employee engagement, and addressing any disciplinary actions as required.
Shift available: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
A variety of these traits will help land you this job. If you have:
2 years Technical or Trade School diploma or certification, or equivalent work experience is required
2 years minimum related experience in the programming field strongly preferred
an understanding of plastics and plastics fabrication is required
On top of that you must:

- be able to plan prioritize coordinate and manage work in a fast-paced environment
- be able to display high levels of customer service responding promptly and thoroughly to the inquiries and needs of individuals both internal and external to the organization

- be able to identify evaluate problem solve and give direction regarding problem resolution for individual and team issues
In this position, you will:
- motivate mentor coach and train employees for professional development employee engagement and the creation of a safe and inclusive work environment
- set high performance expectations and provide feedback both positive and constructive to ensure those expectations are met
- effectively communicate internally and externally to ensure production schedule aligns with customer needs
- implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives
- analyze prototypes and quality control to detect and correct problems
- collaborate with experts in the machine room and fabrication assembly to ensure repeatability throughout the production process when needed
- communicate with scheduling team to ensure deadlines are met and clients are served
- challenge the status quo and utilize the latest technology available to help move tbg forward
- develop monitor and challenge standard operating procedures throughout the area
- collaborate with engineering team to create manufacturable designs that are production friendly
- handle the implementation and execution of training programs for new hires
- participate in performance management along with manager to provide coaching and feedback as needed
- monitor and review the performance of staff perform 1 on 1 training and set goals for improvement
- ensure compliance with workplace safety programs
- perform duties in other areas of the acrylics shop as needed
- perform miscellaneous projects and complete various tasks as requested by management

- experienced in using applicable fabrication equipment including solvents for bonding novus for cleaning and heat bending
- proficient in performing repeated hand motions including wrists hands and gripping
- able to lift push pull twist stoop bend kneel and reach above shoulder level as needed

Compensation Range: $64,500- $70,000 annually
*Range reflects our good-faith assessment of our hiring range for this role based on market conditions, experience level, and internal equity considerations.
