Cook / Line Cook / (Senior Living) -- NO LATE NIGHTS 📍 Allegro of St. Augustine – 1101 Plantation Island Dr S, St. Augustine, FL 32080💲 Starting at $21/hr🕒 Full-Time | Morning & Evening Shifts (6am-2pm/10am-7pm)| Every Other Weekend Allegro of St. Augustine hiring a Part-Time Cook to join our dining team in a welcoming assisted living community. Supervise the kitchen under the direction of the Dining Services Director (DSD) and Chef/Lead Cook. Prepare high quality meals consistent with local customs and tastes. Consistently adhere to the standard recipes, the budgeted costs and Company policies.  Supervise and/or assist in the proper washing of all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils. Properly maintain all kitchen equipment. Monitor water temperatures and/or chemical compounds as appropriate to ensure the prevention of foodborne illness and the spread of communicable disease. Approach residents and associates in a friendly, service-oriented manner. Other job duties as assigned – see full job description. Required Qualifications Must be a minimum of 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Must be flexible/adaptable, pay attention to detail, and have a sense of teamwork. Must possess good time management skills and a keen awareness of safety.  Must possess current manager’s level food handler permit. Must have positive Criminal Background Screening. The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy. Preferred Qualifications Minimum one (1) year related cooking experience or equivalent preferred. Some software and computer skills preferred.
