As a Security Officer Screening Monitor in Groveport, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will help support a welcoming environment through screening activities, routine observation, and professional communication. In this role, you will remain visible, help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service while reflecting our agile, reliable, and innovative approach, grounded in teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or personal belongings in accordance with post orders and client-directed protocols, while documenting security-related concerns and unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Monitor entry points and reception or screening areas to help support authorized access, help to deter prohibited items from entering the location, and assist with badge, visitor, and/or credential verification.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, remaining attentive to environmental conditions, access issues, and other security-related matters that may require follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
