What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with site protocols.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help identify security-related concerns, unauthorized access attempts, and/or conditions that may require reporting.
- Support receiving and shipping areas by observing vehicle access, directing visitors and/or vendors to designated check-in points, and following post orders for restricted areas and after-hours access.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
