Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Technical Service Engineer to support and grow our Anti-Corrosion Coatings (ACC) business in Taiwan, with a focus on zinc and zinc-alloy plating as well as other surface finishing solutions technologies.

This role combines strong technical expertise with customer-facing communication skills to support plating customers throughout product implementation, troubleshooting, and process optimization. The Technical Service Engineer will work closely with both customers and internal teams to ensure the successful application of our corrosion protection technologies.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide technical service and application support for anti-corrosion coating products.
  • Support customers using anti-corrosion coatings systems
  • Assist customers in optimizing plating processes and improving product performance.
  • Support and promote technologies including:
  • ◼Zinc plating
    ◼Zinc-nickel alloy plating
    ◼Trivalent passivation systems
    ◼Topcoats and sealers
    ◼Surface conditioning
    ◼Light metal finishes
  • Conduct on-site technical visits, product trials, and process evaluations.
  • Troubleshoot plating and corrosion performance issues at customer facilities.
  • Collect and analyse bath or process samples as required.
  • Work closely with sales, technical, and laboratory teams to support customer projects.
  • Assist in technical presentations, product training, and application demonstrations.
  • Support new product introductions and qualification activities.


Who are You?

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Material, Chemical, Industrial) or a related technical field.

•3–5 years of experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or related roles.

•Strong technical aptitude and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.

•Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

•Ability to identify compliance risks and escalate when necessary.

•Ability to travel as required for customer visits and events.

•Experience providing technical service or process support at customer sites.

•Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

•Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for customer visits.

•Basic PC skills including MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

•Experience with CRM systems preferred

•Mandarin Chinese required; English communication ability preferred
