- Electrical troubleshooting skills should include AC / DC equipment power and control circuitry.
(examples: motors, relays, contactors, VFDs, limit switches and proximity sensors, etc.) - Diagnose problems, plan corrective action, and complete repair requirements to restore machines and equipment to full operating condition, with a strong electrical focus.
- Capable of reading and comprehending machine and equipment maintenance manuals, related parts diagrams, prints and electrical schematics.
- Strong problem solving skills to troubleshoot new and antiquated custom equipment.
- Contribute to planning and repair stages of machine and equipment installation and rebuild projects.
- Self-motivated and can work independently with minimal guidance, as well as in a team setting.
