Human Resources Associate


Full-Time (40 Hours)

Location: Johnston, RI 


General Responsibility: The Human Resources Associate assist’s with day to day HR operations including onboarding, benefits administration, employee support, and maintaining accurate personnel records. This role also supports reporting, compliance and HR systems such as ADP. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support employee onboarding, including processing new hire paperwork and background checks
  • Assist with credentialing and privileging processes for applicable staff
  • Track and follow up on required employee documentation and compliance items
  • Support benefits administration and employee wellness initiatives 
  • Assist with HR reporting (FMLA, turnover, OSHA, EEOC, etc. )
  • Help Coordinate trainings and staff development activities
  • Support worker’s compensation reporting and leave tracking (including FMLA)
  • Provide general administrative support to HR and assist with audits and compliance

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assist with payroll processing and reimbursements as needed
  • Support fiscal/administrative tasks and reporting 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications: 

  • Associate degree in HR, or related field or 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational, communication and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (ADP preferred)
