Job Description
The Event Sales Manager is responsible for selling and managing events from initial inquiry through contract execution. This role handles the full sales lifecycle, including responding to event leads, creating proposals, conducting site tours, negotiating terms, and finalizing contracts. The market is predominantly social, with a strong focus on weddings and celebrations ranging from approximately 100 to 400 guests.
This position is not responsible for event planning or on-site coordination of event details, but instead focuses on driving revenue, building strong client relationships, and ensuring a smooth handoff and communication process with internal hotel teams before, during, and after each event. The Event Sales Manager partners closely with Social Event Planning Managers and an assigned Event Coordinator to ensure a seamless client experience.
This is an on-site position and is not eligible for full-time remote work.
