Scrum Master

Role and Responsibility Brief

• Scrum Master role is client facing role, which has the accountable and responsible for managing project delivery with the help of geographically distributed technical teams and adhering to the timeline, budget and scope as per agreed/propoed plan.
• Scrum Master need to work closely with Product owner to define/analyse/plan/deliver user story or features.
• Manages and executes a program involving cross functional project teams to drive engineering development and delivery.
• Partners with both internal stakeholders and external partners across the Software ecosystem. Along with managing customer’s expectation.
• Scrum Master should run sprint planning, understanding requirements from product owners, get timelines from engineering teams and able to track the project status.
• Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine the best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives.
• Manages activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners; ensures progress against established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and development schedule.
• Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to product, processes, or business practices to resolve escalated issues, produce solutions, and ensure adherence to budgets and established product roadmaps and schedules.
• Drives innovation and integration of innovative technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the engineering organization.

Must Have Skill

• Technical experience in managing enterprise program in java springboot microservices
• Weekly task planning for better tracking and drive the changes from story elaboration till prod deployment
• Closely work with Customer engineering manager to drive business priority
• Understands and drive technical dependencies between multiple interfaces and discuss technical challenges and come up with solution 
• Understand architecture , technical solution and give technical direction to team 
• Bachelors or Masters in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
• Certified Scrum Master
• 6-8 years of experience in Software industry.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in Program or Project management.
• Previous hands-on experience as a Developer & full stack development helping to create innovative customer driven products & applications.
• Extensive experience with using project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
• Experience using feature or bug tracking tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA etc.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills – Able to understand product, requirements, and its impact.
• Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.
• Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels.
• Experience in managing and delivering cloud-based services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English.

Nice to Have Skill

• Support activities like organization wide initiatives, hiring/recruitment, etc.
• CI/CD and DevOps hands-on knowledge

Additional Information

· Candidate should have knowledge of both development and project management for products.
