Operations Manager
Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading daily operations, driving operational excellence, and ensuring exceptional guest and team member experiences. This role oversees multiple operational departments, develops leaders, and implements strategies that improve efficiency, security operations, transportation flow, emergency preparedness, and service standards.
As a key leader, the Operations Manager partners with senior leadership to support long-term planning, continuous improvement, and successful execution of day-to-day operations. This role also serves as Manager on Duty (MOD) on a rotating basis, providing leadership presence and operational oversight during evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
Your Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development

Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and frontline teams across operational departments

Establish performance expectations, provide feedback, and support professional growth

Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, guest service, and operational awareness
Daily Operations Oversight

Oversee daily operations across multiple departments to ensure smooth, efficient performance

Monitor staffing levels, operational readiness, guest flow, parking operations, transportation systems, and security coverage

Identify operational challenges and implement real-time solutions

Support peak seasons, special events, and high-volume periods

Ensure departments maintain cleanliness, organization, and service standards

Coordinate transportation and parking operations to support efficient guest arrival and departure experiences

Partner with security teams to maintain a secure environment for guests, team members, and company assets

Monitor operational activity throughout the property and respond to incidents, emergencies, or guest concerns as needed
Manager on Duty (MOD) Responsibilities

Serve as Manager on Duty during assigned shifts, acting as the primary operational leader for the property

Respond to escalated guest concerns, operational issues, emergencies, and incidents in real time

Coordinate communication and response efforts during operational disruptions or emergency situations

Provide leadership support across departments during evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events

Ensure operational standards and guest experience expectations are consistently maintained during MOD shifts
Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement

Analyze operational performance and guest feedback to drive improvements

Support budgeting, forecasting, labor planning, and resource allocation
-
Implement new processes, initiatives, and operational efficiencies
-
Collaborate cross-functionally to support business goals and growth
Communication & Collaboration

Serve as a key liaison between departments and senior leadership

Communicate operational updates, priorities, and performance metrics

Build strong partnerships across teams to ensure seamless operations

Perform additional duties as assigned
What You Need
-
5+ years of leadership experience in operations, hospitality, attractions, retail, transportation, security, public safety, or a related field
-
Proven ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments
-
Experience overseeing security operations, incident response, emergency procedures, or guest safety initiatives preferred

Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

Experience with scheduling, staffing, and performance management
-
Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure or emergency situations
-
Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and MOD shifts
Physical Requirements

Ability to walk and stand for extended periods

Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions

Ability to navigate uneven terrain, stairs, and operational areas throughout the property

Ability to lift, move, or carry up to 40 lbs. when needed
