Job Description

Armidale Secondary College is a unique education facility with a total student enrolment of 1104. The core values are our future, our learning. The school is partially selective (Years 7-12), has a comprehensive Inclusive Education Unit, and also shares the site with the Armidale Intensive English Centre. Students enjoy modern facilities as the school commenced in 2019. Armidale Secondary College has a diverse student cohort and is a proud comprehensive public educational facility catering for the needs of the full range of learners. Armidale Secondary College has 25% of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, 25% students who have English as an Additional Language/Dialect and students from refugee backgrounds. Extensive co-curricular programs cater for diverse student interests and include sport, dance, drama, music, environment and student leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within the mathematics faculty to develop teaching and learning programs for a diverse range of learners. 

  • Demonstrated ability to differentiate course content to maximise student growth.


 

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
