HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
The Business Analyst (BA) will help strengthen the front end of our digital product and engineering delivery lifecycle. This role sits at the intersection of business needs, product delivery, and technical execution. This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering teams, and delivery leads to ensure initiatives are clearly defined, properly scoped, technically understood, and execution-ready before entering development.
The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis fundamentals with program delivery and technical coordination experience. They should be comfortable driving requirements discovery, facilitating cross-functional alignment, navigating ambiguity, and managing complex dependencies across systems and teams.
This is not a purely documentation-focused BA role. We are looking for someone who can drive clarity, operational rigor, and execution readiness across both business and technology organizations.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to define business problems, objectives, scope, dependencies, and success criteria
Lead discovery and requirements gathering sessions to translate business needs into structured, actionable documentation
Create and maintain high-quality BRDs, functional requirements, process flows, user journeys, business rules, and acceptance criteria
Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to clarify technical requirements, system dependencies, APIs, integrations, and execution considerations
Help drive end-to-end delivery planning for complex initiatives spanning multiple teams and systems
Navigate ambiguity to establish clear execution plans, priorities, milestones, and delivery readiness
Identify risks, gaps, tradeoffs, and bottlenecks early and drive mitigation strategies across stakeholders
Partner with technical delivery teams during solutioning, architecture discussions, sizing, and implementation planning
Ensure projects entering the development lifecycle are well-defined, properly scoped, and aligned across business and technical teams
Facilitate alignment between business stakeholders and engineering teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
Support breakdown of initiatives into epics, stories, and development-ready work items
Establish operational rigor through status reporting, dependency tracking, program reviews, retrospectives, and delivery metrics
Drive standardization of business requirements and intake processes across the organization
Support product management and delivery teams in prioritization, intake governance, roadmap readiness, and execution planning activities
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to agile delivery practices, requirements management standards, and cross-functional operating models
QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to identify delivery risks, manage dependencies, and drive alignment in fast-moving environment
Ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization
Technical fluency and ability to understand system architecture, APIs, integrations, data flows, and platform dependencies
Strong expertise in business requirements gathering, BRD creation, process mapping, and functional documentation
Strong organizational and execution management skills with a high degree of ownership and accountability
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences
Understanding of product delivery lifecycle practices, agile methodologies, and cross-functional product team operating models
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science & Engineering, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or related field required
3+ years of experience in business analysis, product operations, product delivery, or cross-functional technology initiatives involving multiple systems, stakeholders, and delivery teams
Experience supporting Agile delivery models, including epics, user stories, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and UAT coordination
Experience working in digital product, eCommerce, platform modernization, or enterprise application environments preferred
Progressive experience supporting product, technology, or digital transformation initiatives preferred
Success in This Role
Success in this role means improving project readiness, reducing ambiguity before development begins, and helping teams execute more efficiently through stronger business alignment, clearer requirements, and proactive program coordination. This role will serve as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring initiatives move from concept to execution with clarity, consistency, and operational discipline.
Success also includes strengthening intake governance, improving delivery predictability, and enhancing collaboration across Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, and Design teams
