Job Description

About PS Seasoning

PS Seasoning is a growing food manufacturer with a supply chain that moves product across the country every single day. We're expanding, and our transportation team is at the center of it all — keeping freight moving, customers happy, and operations running like clockwork.

About the Role

We're hiring a Transportation Coordinator to support our inbound and outbound shipping operations. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role with real room to grow. If you're someone who thrives on solving logistics puzzles, building strong carrier relationships, and finding smarter ways to move freight, this one's for you.

You'll work closely with our warehouse team, account managers, 3PL partners, and customers to make sure every shipment is planned, picked up, and delivered on time — with all the documentation buttoned up along the way.

What You'll Do

  • Plan outbound LTL and truckload shipments with the warehouse team
  • Schedule pickups and prepare required documentation (ASNs, customs clearance, etc.)
  • Route freight using our in-house ERP and follow customer routing guides
  • Serve as the customer's advocate, ensuring product arrives efficiently and on time
  • Respond to account management inquiries on pending and in-transit shipments
  • Support the Transportation Manager in managing 3PL relationships
  • Flag driver and carrier performance issues to the Transportation Manager
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
  • Write and maintain SOPs and work instructions
  • Stay current on industry trends and recommend improvements
  • Take on special projects as directed by leadership
  • Provide backup support to operations teammates
  • Attend staff meetings and training programs

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • 3+ years of transportation and logistics experience strongly preferred, ideally with 3PL exposure
  • A degree in Transportation and Logistics can substitute for experience
  • Proven ability to write SOPs and drive process improvements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal teams, customers, and carriers
  • High level of professional integrity and discretion
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Why You'll Like Working Here

  • Growing company with clear room for professional advancement
  • Collaborative, team-first culture
  • Direct impact — your work is visible every single day
  • Supportive leadership invested in your development

Location & Schedule

This is an on-site position. Remote and hybrid work are not available for this role — our transportation operations require a physical presence.
