How you’ll make an impact in this role
Drive Strategic Oncology Growth: Develop and execute long-range market strategies, cancer program expansions, and oncology physician recruitment to meet the evolving needs of cancer patients and their families.
Champion Clinical Excellence & Accreditation: Partner with oncology physician leadership to implement unified care standards, leverage cutting-edge clinical technologies, and maintain top-tier database registries and external benchmarks to deliver outstanding, safe cancer care.
Optimize Financial & Operational Health: Lead the comprehensive management of oncology service line resources, capital budgets, and specialized vendor contracts to ensure cost-effective, lean, and highly efficient clinical operations.
Foster Collaborative Cancer Care Culture: Facilitate a unified environment of teamwork, multidisciplinary collaboration (including tumor boards and survivorship clinics), and accountability across all oncology disciplines.
Advance Community Cancer Health: Partner with Population Health leaders to develop targeted cancer prevention, screening, and new service offerings that directly improve health outcomes across the local community.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Nurse Practitioner preferred
- Registered Nurse preferred.
- Physician Assistant credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician
Assistants (NCCPA) preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years being in leadership/management OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's
degree with 3 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required, with 2 of those years
being in leadership/management.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- Masters degree preferred
- 3 or more years Oncology service line experience
- Prior leadership experience
