How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Lead medication therapy management in specialized clinical areas such as oncology, cardiology, or nuclear medicine to ensure safe, evidence-based treatment and optimal patient outcomes.
- Review and verify complex medication orders to identify potential risks, resolve drug-related issues, and support high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Serve as a clinical pharmacy expert and trusted resource by providing drug information, treatment recommendations, and guidance to physicians, nurses, and health-care leaders.
- Oversee the preparation, compounding, and dispensing of medications while mentoring pharmacy technicians and supporting safe, efficient pharmacy operations.
- Educate patients, staff, and pharmacy learners to promote medication safety, adherence, and professional development across the care team.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing preferred. Licensed as a Registered
Nurse in Florida preferred. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for
multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date preferred.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking
- Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Masters degree in Public Health
