The DuPon’s Procurement team is looking for an Indirect Procurement Buyer. In this role you will be responsible for the entire buy process to include preparing, negotiating, managing and coordinating agreements supporting the procurement of various materials and/or services.
Your key responsibilities:
- Manage critical FS&RE suppliers (e.g., maintenance, security, food services), ensuring contract compliance, service continuity, and business risk mitigation.
- Manage Legal NA suppliers
- Lead and execute occasional sourcing events (RFQs/RFPs) for renewals, scope changes, or benchmarking across indirect categories.
- Support Packaging procurement activities in LA, including price adjustments, contract renewals, and validation of cost changes based on key TCO drivers (steel, resin, energy, logistics).
- Act as local focal point for Energy procurement in Brazil, supporting contract management, supplier interface, and ensuring alignment with the Free Energy Market (ACL) dynamics.
- Provide operational procurement support to local stakeholders, including spot buys, small ang huge negotiations, and selected CAPEX purchases.
- Ensure strong stakeholder engagement and compliance with corporate procurement policies, while operating effectively within a regional/global matrix structure.
Qualifications: - Fluency in English; Spanish strongly preferred due to LA stakeholder interaction
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Procurement, preferably in indirect categories (MRO, Services, Packaging, Energy)
- Solid experience in supplier management, negotiations, and contract renewals
- Ability to run isolated / episodic BIDs with limited supervision
- Good understanding of TCO drivers and cost structures, especially for Packaging categories
- Capability to work in a highly regulated and compliance-driven environment (policies, controls, approvals)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with local presence mindset
- Comfortable operating in a matrix organization and interacting with regional/global teams
- Proficient in ERP / sourcing tools and data-driven decision-making
- Hands-on, pragmatic profile with strong sense of operational continuity and risk mitigation
- Availability to work onsite four days a week at Barueri/SP
