Cylinder Maintenance Technician

This role will require you to perform visual and physical inspections on cylinders before filling to determine whether retesting or repairs are required You will conduct cylinder conversions, including de-valving, valving, stripping, and repairing valves Operate hydrostatic and ultrasonic cylinder testers Maintain required certifications to properly certify cylinders as retested Operate a forklift to support material handling and movement of cylinders Receive incoming cylinders, valves, and cylinder maintenance supplies; diagnose and repair cylinder neck leaks and safety-related leaks You will nspect and identify defective cylinders, scrapping cylinders when appropriate Responsible for performing painting, housekeeping, and light plant maintenance tasks to maintain a clen and safe work environment
