Job Summary
This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective planning of supply of products through the process of responding to the demand from Customers with the supply of from internal or external Suppliers, taking into account the constraints existing as well as constant process of introduction of new products and phase-out of old products
Key Areas of Responsibility
• Develops supply plans based on demand forecasts and business needs.
• Verifies & confirms FG intake plan feasibility vs. capacity and components/supplier constraints.
• Delivers on OBLT commitments through optimization of Supply Sources (Factory & BfR).
• Monitors and analyzes supply chain data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Coordinates with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• For integrally planned materials: optimizes inventory levels to reduce costs while maintaining product availability.
• For integrally planned magterials: supports planning of key components for Tier 1 Suppliers.
• Manages supply chain risks by identifying potential disruptions and developing contingency plans.
• Prepares and presents reports on supply chain performance to stakeholders.
• Manages component risk buy & capacity planning for MTO/ATO/ETO based on Market project pipeline.
• Collaborates with suppliers, shares and reviews relevant planning information and receives supplier commitment.
• Supports PIPO process with FG, DP teams in the Market.
• Creates, controls and maintains Master Production Schedule with suppliers and Manufacturers.
• Performs weekly PDCA cycle on FG supplier lead times and responsiveness.
• Sets & maintains supply planning parameters in SAP.
Critical Experiences
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or logistics, with a strong focus on demand forecasting and supplier coordination.
• APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification is an advantage
