Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Supports the Aftersales Finance team with the analysis of financial data, customer data and internal performance by utilizing existing resources to capture and evaluate data in the areas of service, parts and collision management.
- Generate data for scorecards and performance management.
- Utilize existing frameworks and models to evaluate business results and return on investment for Aftersales strategies.
- Provide ad-hoc data mining and business intelligence analyses.
- Provide guidance and recommendations on measurement and data practices.
- Understand all relevant AutoNation databases; identify and implement actions to automate reporting and integrate data sources; troubleshoot reconciling issues with the data.
- Analyze market opportunities and take initiative in identifying strategic opportunities to drive revenue, retain gross, and reduce expense.

Qualifications:
- Recommended 2-4 years of professional experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related quantitative field of study
- Highly proficient Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, graphs, macros, and complex formulas.
- Experience with SQL, Snowflake, Essbase, VBA or another statistical analysis package is a plus.
- Ability to independently lead complex analyses in ambiguous environments with minimal direction
- Excellent analytical skills: ability to synthesize large sets of data and integrate complex analytical insights into meaningful reports and recommendations
- Ability to perform/own recurring and ad-hoc business analyses
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with the demonstrable ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands while ensuring all data is accurate and supportable
- Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize and convey key insights from analyses in presentations and emails to senior team members
- Highly motivated, high energy, results driven individual
- Professional maturity, team player and superior interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
