 JOB OVERVIEW

The Recruitment Manager will effectively partner with Faena District Leaders to develop and execute talent acquisition strategies aimed at assisting to achieve common objectives. This position owns the full recruitment life cycle (identifying, attracting, assessing, hiring and on-boarding talent) and must demonstrate expertise in assessing talent.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Supports the planning of recruitment events 
  • Supports the recruitment process of trainees from around the world that includes housing, on-boarding, field trips, appraisals and other related responsibilities
  • Supports full cycle recruitment process including creating job descriptions 
  • Responsible for negotiating employment offers
  • Handles all assigned recruitment and selection activities in a highly urgent way with a focus on meeting recruitment cycle goals. Assists in the development and application of cutting-edge employment strategies
  • Actively partners with assigned business/functional unit leadership teams, hiring managers and HR to gain a solid understanding of business objectives and job requirements as well as ensuring that all parties are following established talent acquisition policies and procedures
  • Responsible for developing new talent pools through the use of internal/external contacts and networking resources
  • Responsible for completing weekly and monthly metrics report on recruitment progress
  • Ensures assigned department heads are regularly communicated regarding the status of open requisitions, including any potential obstacles to efficiently and effectively hiring the right talent
  • Solicits and listens closely to departmental direction and feedback on key qualifications for position and incorporates realistic job previews prior to all job offers
  • Maintains and documents candidate communication within the recruitment database and applicant tracking system
  • Builds partnerships with external and internal customers to solve challenges and drive process improvements.
  • Responsible for turnover calculations and staffing guidelines 
  • Utilizes creative sourcing to create a pipeline for all positions. Sources diverse candidates by utilizing innovative sourcing techniques.
  • Negotiates contracts such as Background checks and Career Postings 
  • Trains Leadership Team on Recruitment Process
  • Creates recruitment events on property and participates in external and international recruitment events at schools, job fairs and conferences.
  • Assists in researching and writing various Human Resources policies including job descriptions
  • Creates and/or manages the pre-screening. on-boarding, and new hire process
  • Maintains and manages Career websites
  • Supports the HR Department with employee engagement events. 
  • Various other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • One to Two years of experience in a Recruitment position preferably in hospitality
  • Must possess excellent interviewing, interpersonal, communications and presentation skills 
  • Must be able to travel to international locations
  • Energetic, passionate, self-motivated and a strong team player 
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills required 
  • Displays high initiative and requires minimal supervision and direction 
  • Must exhibit an approachable, authentic and engaging demeanor, setting an example for employees
  • Exhibits a professional attitude, diplomacy and an ability to handle difficult situations
  • Demonstrates an exceptional environment of sincerity, warmth and fun for employees, candidates and guests.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Previous knowledge of the principles and practices within operations
