New Goods Processor

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for preparing, packing and shipping New Good orders for distribution to the stores.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

· No experience required

QUALIFICATIONS / SPECIFIC SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE:

· Must be able to follow directions

· Must be able to recognize numbers, add and subtract

· Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 30 lbs

· Standing, bending, stooping, twisting and walking required

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

(E) – Essential function of job duties

· Accurately prepare orders based on requests, including pulling items and organizing them in distribution area.

· Process orders using appropriate equipment (dollies, flatbeds, etc.)

· Assist in managing overall inventory and inventory data sheets for new goods.

· Maintain accurate record keeping as required by supervisor.

· Sort, prepare and place items in designated holding areas for shipment.

· Assemble and pack orders for distribution on a daily basis.

· Maintain clean and safe work area and surroundings.

· Lift heavy objects by hand or with appropriate equipment.

· Maintain positive accountability of New Good items at all times.

· Secure work area at end of shift.

· Assist other departments as needed

· Other duties as assigned by supervisor
