How you'll make an impact:

As our Quality Manager, you’ll work onsite at our Aurora or SLC facility and report to the General Manager. In this role, you’ll lead the systems and processes that keep our products aligned with customer expectations, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards. You’ll partner closely with the Platform Quality/CI Manager, the Site GM, and cross-functional teams to maintain our ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and FSSC 22000-compliant Business Management System (BMS). Just as importantly, you’ll help shape a culture of continuous improvement that strengthens product quality, customer satisfaction, and the way we work every day.

What you’ll do:

Quality Systems, CI & Compliance

  • Own and continuously improve our Business Management System (BMS), helping teams stay audit-ready and aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSSC 22000, and related standards.

  • Serve as the Management Representative for key certifications and lead site compliance efforts across quality, environmental, and food safety requirements.

  • Lead the internal audit program for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FSSC 22000, FSC, and SFI, and help ensure findings turn into meaningful improvements.

  • Champion process improvement initiatives that raise quality, support operational excellence, and advance MRP’s continuous improvement culture.

Audit, Governance & Quality Assurance

  • Oversee configuration management and document control so product changes, releases, and lifecycle records are accurate, justified, and ready for implementation.

  • Manage the manufacturing QA audit function and use insights from audits to strengthen processes and performance.

Cross-Functional Quality Partnership & Leadership

  • Partner with product development teams to support new product launches and ensure quality requirements are built in from the start.

  • Build, lead, and develop an engaged QA team that values accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

Customer & External Engagement

  • Represent MRP in customer meetings and reviews, building confidence in our quality systems and commitment to excellence.

What it takes to succeed:

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in quality within an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in print, packaging, paperboard, or a closely related industry.

  • Proven experience leading others in a quality role, with 2+ years of formal or informal team leadership.

  • Hands-on experience managing quality systems, audits, compliance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

  • Project management experience with the ability to prioritize work, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive initiatives through completion.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization and represent the company with customers.

  • High personal and professional integrity, a strong sense of accountability, and the ability to work independently while building trust across teams.

  • A practical, results-oriented approach with the confidence to lead change, solve problems, and keep momentum moving forward.

Preferred Requirements

Our teammates come from diverse backgrounds that help us innovate new possibilities daily. While the qualifications listed below are preferred, they are not required.

  • Experience in the print, packaging, paperboard, or a closely related manufacturing industry is preferred.
