Job Description
This internship is designed to directly train the incumbent on supporting the structure, processes, and communication systems already established within the Service Department.
This opportunity will seek to train the intern on how to support coordination between customers, technicians, and internal leadership - ensuring that service operations run efficiently; communication remains proactive, with no details falling through the cracks.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assist as a point of contact for customer inquiries both via phone and email.
- Provide status updates on service orders, repairs, and returns.
- Review and verify documentation for accuracy (service reports, shipping info, billing details).
- Maintain organized records and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Support general administrative tasks within the service department
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; administrative or service coordination experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workflows and maintain organization
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and direct approach
- High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ERP/CRM experience preferred
- Ability to operate independently and proactively, as needed; utilizing great sense of judgement
