MFRST Curriculum Developer

SRI is seeking a committed and passionate Curriculum Developer to provide services to the National Guard Bureau (NGB) J1 Military & Family Readiness Staff Training (MFRST) Support Services.
Overview: The MFRST Curriculum Developer (CD) will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of instructional materials and training programs for adult learners. The CD will ensure all curriculum products are grounded in sound instructional design principles, learning theory, and measurable evaluation methods to support effective training outcomes.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, andmaintaincurriculum and instructional materials for adult learners
- Apply established learning theories and educational psychology principles to instructional design
- Develop comprehensive training programs using systematic instructional design models and methodologies
- Analyze learner characteristics and training needs to inform curriculum development
- Create learningobjectives, instructional strategies, and course content aligned with program goals
- Develop instructional materials, including lesson plans, facilitator guides, participant materials, and multimedia content
- Design and implement evaluation tools such as written tests, performance-based assessments, and surveys
- Assess andvalidateinstructional materials to ensure effectiveness and alignment with learning objectives
- Evaluate training programs for effectiveness, reliability, and validity, and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of course content
- Ensure all curriculum products meet quality standards and contractual requirements
Required Skills, Education, Experience & Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum offive (5) years of experiencein:
- Adult curriculum development
- Staff training
- Instructional design and development
- Professional certification in one of the following (or equivalent):
- Instructional Design
- Curriculum and Instruction
- Education (with a focus on curriculum and instruction)
- Combinedminimum of ten (10) years of education and experiencein:
- Curriculum development
- Instruction for adult learners
