The Certified Nursing Assistant-FLOATER plays a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in our client's homes.. This position requires flexibility and adaptability, as the individual will be assigned to different clients based on staffing needs, ensuring that all clients receive the attention and support they require. The primary goal is to assist clients with daily living activities, monitor their health status, and communicate any changes to the nursing staff. Minimum Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of Maryland.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in a nursing home, assisted living or hospital.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding any changes in clients' conditions or needs.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to infection control protocols.
Skills:
