Job Description
As a Group Exercise Instructor, you will:
- Lead energizing, fun, safe, and educational group exercise classes.
- Builds effective, authentic relationships with members; helps members and program participants connect with each other and the YMCA.
- Observes and adjusts approach to support all participants’ capabilities, physical conditions, health, and culture.
- Instructors must record accurate class attendance.
- Ensure the proper equipment is available.
- Record accurate class attendance.
ALL FORMATS CONSIDERED.
Qualifications:
- Current Group Fitness Certification from a nationally recognized organization
- Minimum 1-year consistent teaching experience is preferred.
- Ability to teach 2 or more class formats is desired.
- Certifications subject to annual audit.
- CPR/AED, first-aid certification
