Position Summary: 

Step into a key leadership role where you will drive the operational excellence of our materials department, ensuring compliance with company policies and contributing to corporate development efforts. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining critical material control systems, alongside managing all aspects of shipping, receiving, and accurate inventory control using the Visual ERP system. Success in this position relies on exhibiting strong professional behavior, including independent judgment and a sense of urgency. Collaborate cross-functionally with planning, assembly, purchasing, and stockroom teams to ensure on-time delivery and maximize overall performance output.

 

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 7 years experience
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers, suppliers or distributors
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Experience leading a team providing direction and guidance

  • Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects and programs
  • Manage all departmental functions such that goals and objectives are achieved

  • Ensure orders are properly shipped using FedEx, DHL, and UPS software
  • Package and label orders accurately for shipment
  • Receive and process all orders in the Visual ERP system
  • Receive incoming items by accepting deliveries, unpacking shipments, recording identifying information, and entering transactions into the ERP system
  • Prepare shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containers
  • Document shipped items by recording identifying and transportation information
  • Maintain inventory levels by assisting with weekly cycle counts and annual physical inventory 
  • Utilize core competencies to achieve departmental goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with planning and assembly teams to support on-time delivery (OTD) goals
  • Support picking and packing of materials
  • Partner with the purchasing team to ensure timely processing of receipts and provide cross-functional support within the materials department as needed
  • Maintain material quality and control by storing parts in appropriate locations and containers
  • Support Stockroom personnel with various functions such as releasing from inspection, kitting and marker printing

Pay Transparency: 

Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. The pay range for this position is $22 - $26 per hour plus incentive compensation. Exact salary will be contingent upon your experience, education, skills, and any other factors Winchester Interconnect Corporation considers relevant to the hiring decision.
