The Facilities & Operations Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the flawless execution of facility operations and event logistics! The primary responsibility of this position is the physical setup and breakdown of equipment, furniture, and structures for various events, meetings, and athletic functions.

  • Set up and break down equipment, furniture, and signage.
  • Complete quick and organized transitions between back-to-back events, ensuring all spaces are cleaned and reset properly.
  • Return facilities back to original configurations, ensuring all equipment is properly disassembles and stored.
  • This is a temporary, on-site position working part-time.

$18.90/Hour.

Temporary positions at the University of Colorado are not benefits-eligible, however, all positions are eligible for paid sick leave.

  • 6 months of experience in a labor-intensive role or education may substitute.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (Up to 50lbs).
  • Ability to read and interpret basic diagram instructions.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with supervisors and team members.
  • 6 months of experience in a labor-intensive role.
  • Basic familiarity with hand tools.
