Overview
The Enterprise Systems Manager is responsible for the strategy, governance, support, and lifecycle management of enterprise business applications and related capabilities across the organization. This role ensures systems are reliable, secure, well-documented, and aligned with business processes and IT standards. The position leads Business Systems Manager(s) and may also oversee data, integration, and reporting resources as the function grows. The role also leads enterprise systems initiatives in partnership with business stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to deliver improvements, integrations, and modernization efforts.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, governance, and lifecycle management of enterprise systems, including intake, prioritization, change control, and roadmap planning.
- Lead and develop Business Systems Manager(s) and related resources, providing coaching, prioritization, and performance feedback.
- Partner with business leaders to define requirements, improve workflows, and drive adoption of enterprise systems and best practices.
- Ensure enterprise systems are reliable, secure, well-documented, and aligned with service levels, KPIs, audit requirements, and operational standards.
- Plan and execute system changes, releases, and enhancements, including testing, communications, training, and adoption activities.
- Oversee integrations, data flows, and dependencies across systems, coordinating delivery and support with internal teams and third-party partners.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, support procedures, and business continuity and disaster recovery expectations for assigned platforms.
- Lead enterprise systems projects, including scope, schedule, resourcing, risk management, stakeholder communications, and outcome delivery.
- Manage platform budgets, licensing, vendors, and partner relationships, including service levels, escalations, and roadmap alignment.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex production issues and participate in emergency response and after-hours support as needed.

- Ability to prioritize a portfolio of work across operational support, enhancements, and project delivery in business-critical environments.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with executives, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Customer-focused mindset with an emphasis on reliable operations, measurable outcomes, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives, influence without direct authority, and drive decisions through clear options and recommendations.
- Strong understanding of application support, change management, SDLC/ITIL concepts, and system integrations.
- Experience with SaaS platforms, databases, reporting and analytics, and data flows between systems.
- Experience managing vendors, contracts, and service levels, with the ability to hold partners accountable and drive escalations to resolution.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable system designs, process improvements, and actionable delivery plans.
- Strong understanding of governance, controls, audit support, and role-based access principles across enterprise applications.
- Ability to define meaningful KPIs, service metrics, and status reporting for operational and project-based enterprise systems work.
- Experience coordinating user training, organizational change, and adoption efforts for enterprise applications and process changes.
- Financial acumen related to software licensing, vendor management, budgeting, and total cost of ownership for enterprise platforms.
Job Condition and Environment
- Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk.
- May be required to travel both domestically and internationally for up to two weeks at one time.
Expected Hours of Work
- Normal office hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday
- Due to global nature of the company and scope of the role, duties may require being available periodically outside of normal working hours
