Responsibilities:
- Perform process simulations for new and existing production lines using PlantSim or FlexSim software
- Actively participate in the development of manufacturing concepts for new products, as well as in RFI/RFQ processes
- Participate in automation projects from concept creation to implementation
- Validate automated production line concepts through simulation, including bottleneck analysis and utilization evaluation
- Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of simulation guidelines
- Cooperate closely with cross-functional departments such as Global AME Process Engineering and the Project Department
- Investigate and evaluate new manufacturing technologies through process simulation
- Maintain contact with engineers from partner companies and provide professional support
- Prepare simulation-related documentation
Requirements:
- University degree in engineering (preferably Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Informatics)
- Knowledge of simulation or design software (FlexSim, Plant Sim, Creo, SolidWorks)
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in the automotive industry
- Communicative level of English
- Willingness to travel
Advantages:
- Knowledge of Plantsim simulation software is a significant advantage
- Experience with JIRA system
- Knowledge of automotive standards (VDA, ISO/TS, IATF, 8D, MSA, SPC, Pareto, APQP, PPAP, FMEA)
