Job Summary: Responsible for leading and sustaining Operational Excellence (OpEx) initiatives across logistics functions. Partners with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement, enhance operational performance, and support a culture of accountability and discipline. This role is expected to demonstrate Keller Leadership Competencies, including accountability, driving results, and optimizing work processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and coach cross-functional teams in Operational Excellence (OpEx), Lean, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Serve as owner of the Warehouse Execution (WX) pillar to drive performance improvements.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, continuous improvement, and labor management systems.
- Proven leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Additional Qualifications and Experience:
- Secondary degree or equivalent experience/certifications preferred.
- 5+ years of warehouse or logistics experience.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or OpEx programs.
- Experience in training and development.
- Travel is required, approximately 20% of the time.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evening, weekends, and holidays as required.
Working Conditions:
- Work typically performed in a warehouse and or office environment but may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
- May be required to wear appropriate PPE, including steel‑toed shoes or boots, and other site‑specific protective equipment as required by facility safety standards.
- Position requires lifting, maneuvering, and positioning cases of product, furniture, and other materials weighing up to 75 pounds, both independently and with assistance.
- Frequent deadlines requiring cross-functional collaboration.
- Regular exposure to operational equipment and warehouse activity.
- Prolonged computer use required.
