Job Purpose
PPO (Post Production Option) is a critical new business for Honda that provides quality accessory options to customers, improving product offerings while generating increased profit for American Honda and its dealers.This position plays a key role in ensuring customers receive high quality PPO installed accessories by supporting quality strategy, assurance, and execution. The role promotes accountability and a strong quality mindset through collaboration and mentorship to achieve worldwide customer satisfaction.
Key Accountabilities
• Primarily responsible for quality assurance inspections to ensure each vehicle meets specifications necessary for customer satisfaction
• Responsible for taking appropriate measures to maintain stable quality in operations
• Promote sound process design methods using defined quality tools
• Evaluate and support development of departmental quality improvement and quality system improvement activities to achieve key quality indicators
• Evaluate operational and supplier product output in an environment of constant change
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Minimum Educational Qualifications
• High School Diploma
• Related job experience in Quality Assurance
Minimum Experience
• 3 to 5 years of manufacturing, quality, or relevant experience
Other Job Specific Skills
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
• Ability to promote and mentor a strong quality culture and mindset
• Ability to evaluate performance and drive results that exceed customer expectations
Working Conditions
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally
• Weekend and holiday work may be required
• Moderate lifting may be required
• Ability to work independently and make appropriate decisions to resolve problems
• Ability to inspect vehicles based on quality specifications to ensure high standards for customers
