Our team coordinates and facilitates a variety of HR initiatives to support our associates so we can continue to build high quality products that contribute to the power of the Honda Brand! 

Key Accountabilities

  • Act as subject matter expert in Human Resource initiatives, including performance management and organizational structure. 
  • Support associates with overall policy management, including revisions, communication, and interpretation. 
  • Partner with departments regarding implementation and reporting of business plan themes or initiatives that create associate impacts. 
  • Collect and analyze Human Resource data to identify trends and establish action plans to execute the company vision. 
  • Communicate company initiatives and projects to associates and management at every level. 
  • Facilitate Associate Voice data collection, analysis, resolution, investigate concerns, and communicate outcomes to associates and leaders. 
  • Coordinate with Leave Administrator regarding policy adherence of associates’ FMLA, Worker’s Comp, and other leaves of absence.
  • Conduct exit interviews for exempt and non-exempt associates and utilize feedback to understand trends to drive improvements across the organization. 
  • Act as Project Lead and Project Support for company initiatives . 
  • Manage and support associate internal movement process, including evaluation of documentation and ensuring alignment with company policies, budgets, etc. 
  • Support legal team with court hearings and depositions.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Minimum Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, management, psychology, or other related field. SHRM-CP certified desired, but not required.
  • Minimum Experience 2-6 years of equivalent, related job experience, based on education.
  • Other Job-Specific Skills

Working knowledge of Kronos, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PeopleSoft
Good analytical and presentation skills
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal 
Strong project management skills 
Excellent customer service skills

Working Conditions

  • Open-office environment. 
  • Travel 2-5 days annually for training and/or special projects. 
  • May require travel between locations. 
  • 2-5 hours of OT per week.
