State : South East (SG-04) Country : Singapore (SG) Requisition Number : 45693 The position is a multi-tasks role covering part Operations and part Insurance. Under the operation side, this role will play an important part in providing support to the Execution team in Asia including BBS Team (Share Service Centre) in Mohali, India and is responsible for the Purchase & Sales contracts issuance and arrange documents signing including dispatch of documents for presentation to banks and customers. Under the Insurance side, the role will focus on ASIAPAC region and country insurance contacts with oversight and coordination with Director of Global Risk & Insurance. Main Accountabilities : A) Operations Scope – 60% Coordinating with BBS team (Shared Service Centre) in Mohali, India for documents presentation as required. Liaise and coordinate with Regional Offices Execution team for documents delivery as needed at destinations. Prepare and issue Certificate of Origin endorsed by Indian Chamber of Commerce. Monitor documents status from origin then present to banks and/or deliver to the customers for payments to ensure cargo discharge as per schedule without delay. Verify the documents details against the bank cover letter prior presentation to prevent rework. Sorting out the documents for signing and arrange with local dispatch for documents presentation timely. Work closely with customers, surveyors, BBS team and commercial team to meet their requirements to avoid any delays, problems, concerns and/or complaints. Coordinate with Execution and Insurance teams, insurance brokers and loss adjustors in the case of cargo insurance claims and loss recovery. B) Insurance Scope – 40% Manage all local insurance policy placements in coordination with global insurance brokers. Manage certificate of insurance requirements and other contractual requirements related to insurance. Collect and package all necessary policy renewal data information and communicate to local insurance brokers. Report in SharePoint paid claims and losses retained within deductibles or retentions. Pay premiums in a timely manner and coordinate with local finance teams. Communication to regional finance teams on insurance budgets, claim settlements, and other costs that may impact Bunge’s P&L (+ or -) Bunge locations which are part of a JV partnership and Bunge are not responsible for placement of insurance; review and share Bunge coverage requirements with JV partner. Bunge locations which are part of a JV partnership and Bunge are responsible for placement of insurance; communicate in advance policy requirements of JV partner to insurance broker and other stakeholders, support placement of coverage and allocate premium per our JV partnership agreement. Requirement Degree or Diploma in any disciplines, preferably Business Administration/Shipping/Banking and Finance. Working experience in the commodity logistics or shipping industry or trade services. Ability to communicate effectively and work efficiently.
