Responsibilities
AI Technology Practice Leadership
- Establish and lead the enterprise AI Technology Practice and roadmap
- Define AI strategy aligned to business and technology priorities
- Build reusable AI capabilities, frameworks, governance and standards
- Develop an AI operating model and engagement approach across technology teams
- Act as a senior advisor to CIO, CTO and Engineering leadership
Software Engineering Modernisation
- Drive AI-assisted software engineering adoption across development teams
- Modernise SDLC processes using AI-enabled tooling and automation
- Introduce engineering productivity frameworks and developer experience improvements
- Lead adoption of AI coding assistants, automated testing, agentic workflows, platform engineering and DevSecOps automation
- Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and accelerate delivery
Enterprise AI Enablement
- Identify and prioritise high-value internal AI use cases
- Partner with business and operational teams to improve efficiency and decision making
- Support intelligent automation and operational optimisation initiatives
- Ensure responsible and secure AI adoption across the organization
Governance & Risk
- Establish AI governance, security and compliance standards
- Work closely with Security, Risk and Legal teams
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and ethical AI requirements
- Define controls for model usage, data access and operational oversight
Capability Building
- Build internal AI capability, knowledge sharing and communities of practice
- Coach technology leaders and engineering teams
- Support talent development and future skills planning
- Evaluate strategic partnerships and vendor relationships
