Job Overview
To provide installation, commissioning, repair, and preventive maintenance services for medical equipment in healthcare environments. Acts as the primary field contact for technical service, ensuring customer satisfaction and effective case resolution.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Provide installation, commissioning, repair, preventive maintenance and field service corrective action (FSCA) implementation services at customer locations independently, and according to established procedures.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical faults.
- Manage difficult case communication directly with customers, providing technical explanations and setting realistic expectations.
- Follow all company service protocols, accurately completing service checklists and reports.
- Handle all administrative work associated with service delivery and ensure timely documentation.
- Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with customers and co-workers.
- Meet individual and departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Work with Training Academy to provide training to new joiners and distributors.
- Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the line manager.
Minimum Requirements
- Candidates with ITE and/or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent medical device related educational background are welcome to apply.
- 3 years of hands-on related experience in medical equipment installation and maintenance.
- Able to travel and support SEA as and when required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret service manuals and follow maintenance guidelines.
- Hard working, team player, independent, hands-on, customer oriented and good attitude.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in both verbal and written English.

Internal and External Contacts/Relationships
- Main contacts, internal: Sales and Service Teams
- Main contacts, external: Customers, Suppliers.
Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions
- Field-based position with frequent presence in Hospitals sector requiring strict adherence to hospital infection control and safety policies.
- May work extended hours during peak business cycles
- Physical requirements such as handling, lifting and replacement of parts, must observe ergonomic and safety-best practices.
- Must comply with all company environment, health and safety policies, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment when required.
- Travel requirements: occasional.
