Job Overview
- To provide service activities of ICU & Operating Room equipment based at our customer site.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
- Provide preventive maintenance and repair service at customer location in accordance with Company’s established procedures, techniques, tools, test equipment and replacement parts.
- Installation, commissioning, calibration, and testing of relevant equipment at customer locations according to Getinge’s protocol.
- Implementing Field Corrective Actions.
- Handling administrative work associated with service delivery.
- Responsible to customers’ complaints and providing support for corrective maintenance.
- Meeting key KPIs assigned to you as an individual and of Service department.
- Establish and maintain a professional working relationship with customers and co-workers through teamwork.
- Sharing of knowledge and provide advice to clients and their staff as well as all end-users, on the proper operation and usage of the equipment.
- Hard working, team player, independent, hands-on, customer oriented and good attitude.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Perform all other duties assigned by the Company and/or Manager.
Minimum Requirements
- ITE and/or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 3 years working experience in field service for industrial equipment
- Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry would be a plus
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret service manuals and follow maintenance guidelines.
- Hard working, team player, independent, hands-on, customer oriented and good attitude.
- Good presentation and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in both verbal and written English Technical or manual requirements which are typically learned or acquired through training, these should be measurable and observable
- Personal and social attributes which tend to be innate or acquired which demonstrate the capability to perform the job responsibilities
Supervision/Management of Others

Internal and External Contacts/Relationships
- Main contacts, internal: Sales, Service, Finance, Customer Service, Logistics, SSU QRC, HR, IT, Academy, Designated Complaints Handling Units.
- Main contacts, external: Customers, Distributors, Suppliers, Local Agencies.
Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions
- Field-based position with frequent presence in Hospitals sector requiring strict adherence to hospital infection control and safety policies.
- Physical requirements such as handling, lifting and replacement of parts, must observe ergonomic and safety-based practices.
- Must comply with all company environment, health and safety policies, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment when required.
- May work extended hours during peak business cycles
