Job Description

You will oversee end-to-end logistics operations, covering warehousing, distribution, and import/export processes. Reporting to the Logistics Director, you'll drive cost optimization, service excellence, risk management, and strategic logistics development, while ensuring full compliance with safety, regulatory, and company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Safety management: Continue to learn and master the relevant knowledge and policies of the country and the company in logistics safety, set an example and preach within the team to ensure that all staff can establish a sense of safety first, integrate safety management into daily management work, and make suggestions on the company's processes and standards to continuously improve the level of safety management; (0 accidents)
  • Shipping management: coordinate and arrange the summary, sorting and analysis of customer orders; Arrange orders to appropriate suppliers in a reasonable and efficient manner; Conduct in-transit tracking and handle anomalies in a timely manner to ensure customer requirements are met; Maintain and update the standards and procedures for the above operations; Make suggestions on system optimization.
  • Warehouse management: supervise and manage the receiving, storage and delivery processes to ensure compliance with PPG's corresponding rules and regulations, and timely deal with abnormal problems such as cargo damage and abnormal goods during warehousing activities.
  • Import & Export management: In compliance with Customs Trade regulation and requirements, overall management in Import, Export and COO daily operational execution, process optimization and manage custom declaration lead time
  • Service management: Through customer satisfaction survey and customer return visits and other ways to deeply understand customer needs, to continuously improve customer satisfaction, put forward opinions and suggestions on customers, and report analysis and processing the first time; Take effective measures to prevent the recurrence of similar situations.
  • Cost management: Assist in providing logistics cost budget standards and data; Ensure true, effective and accurate expenses by timely accounting and other means; At the same time, conduct comprehensive analysis to identify cost saving opportunities and propose improvement suggestions and programs.
  • Personnel management: fully responsible for and managing the establishment, recruitment, salary, welfare, training and development of team members as well as employee labor relations, in order to continuously improve employee engagement and production efficiency; (Engagement)
  • Supplier management: Under the framework and terms of the contract, supervise and audit the operating process of suppliers, avoid safety and quality accidents of suppliers, conduct continuous training for suppliers, ensure that suppliers complete their operations in a compliant manner, continuously improve operational efficiency and reduce costs; In the bidding process, make requirements and suggestions on the selection of suppliers.
  • Site management: responsible for safety, 5S. Responsible for developing warehouse SOP process; Regular staff training; Cooperate to complete the work and result analysis of warehouse cycle inventory, monthly inventory and year-end inventory, and propose improvement plans.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant discipline is required
  • We prefer candidates with 5 years and above working experience in logistics, warehouse management, import & export, who have experience in the chemical industry, and who have experience in hazardous chemical warehouse management.
  • Integrity, honesty, led by example, familiarity with laws and regulations, industry practices are preferred
  • Language requirement: English, Malay, Chinese
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, PPT, SAP, Oracle and other software
  • We prefer certification in hazardous chemicals management.
