Job Description
Position Summary
Meats By Linz is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Sales Representative to expand and support our customer base in the Orlando, Florida market. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and promoting premium protein products to restaurants, hotels, country clubs, distributors, and other foodservice accounts.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, knowledgeable in foodservice or protein sales, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with chefs, purchasing managers, restaurant owners, and foodservice operators throughout the Orlando territory.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow sales volume and market presence.
- Conduct in-person sales calls, customer visits, product presentations, and tastings.
- Promote Meats By Linz products, including premium beef, pork, poultry, seafood, and specialty items.
- Collaborate with internal departments including operations, customer service, and logistics to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage customer accounts, pricing discussions, and order follow-up.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the territory.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and pipeline updates.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry functions as needed.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly.
Job Requirements and Skills
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience preferred, ideally within foodservice, meat/protein distribution, or hospitality industries
- Existing relationships within the Orlando foodservice market preferred
- Proven ability to build and maintain a strong book of business
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong relationship management skills with openness to feedback
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to customer and audience needs
- Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices, along with the ability to build productive professional relationships
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred
Additional Requirements
- Resident of the Orlando area required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory regularly
