Back to jobsAllergy-Immunology Outpatient clinics (1-2 clinics per week) under consultant supervision.
Undertake clinical assessment, investigation and management of patients referred to Allergy & Immunology
Provide advanced nursing assessment and initial management of children and adolescents presenting to the Allergy Challenge Clinic.
Perform and interpret skin prick tests as required under consultant supervision.
Engage appropriate referral processes for review and clinical management with appropriate clinical staff.
Work closely with the medical and nursing teams to ensure pathways of care and protocols are established and maintained for the Allergy Challenge Clinic.
Liaise with the Nursing Unit Manager to ensure evaluation, implementation and education arms of the unit are being achieved.
Work closely with the Medical Teams to ensure identification and triage of appropriate patients for the Allergy Challenge Clinic and appropriate paediatric assessment tools are in place.
