The Fiserv Technology Analyst Program is a two-year, early career development experience designed to accelerate your growth in the fintech industry. Through two structured assignments within a specific technology track, analysts gain hands-on experience, build technical and professional skills, and collaborate across teams to solve real business challenges. What you will do:
Review project requirements and documentation with guidance to help ensure features are clear and testable within scope and timelines.
Execute test cases (manual and some automated) to identify issues and help validate the quality of our applications.
Assist in developing and maintaining automated tests as part of the build and deployment process.
Communicate testing progress, results, and defects clearly to team members, contributing to team visibility and alignment.
Help maintain and update testing documentation as products and processes evolve.
Learn and build knowledge of Payment Card processing and merchant onboarding workflows to support effective testing of business functionality.
What would be great to have:
Exposure to test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber) through coursework, projects, or internships.
Familiarity with version control or CI/CD tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins) is a plus.
Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to quickly understand how systems work and apply that knowledge during testing.
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
What you will need to have:
Recent graduate of a bachelor's degree completed in December 2024 or after in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3.0+ GPA.
0-2 years of professional work experience.
Basic understanding of software testing concepts (test cases, defect tracking, test execution).
Exposure to web application testing and familiarity with databases or SQL (basic querying skills preferred).
Some experience or coursework in programming/scripting (Java, Python, or similar).
Familiarity with APIs and basic understanding of REST services is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn troubleshooting and debugging techniques.
Ability to document defects clearly and communicate effectively with team members.
Important info about this role:
This role is on-site Monday through Friday. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences help you with your overall onboarding experience and leads to stronger productivity.
