What You’ll Work On
As a Supply Chain Manager at Abbott, you will lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations within a regulated manufacturing environment, ensuring seamless material flow, operational efficiency, and customer fulfillment.
Lead End-to-End Supply Chain Operations
Plan, direct, and oversee materials planning, inventory control, warehousing, shipping, and receiving to ensure uninterrupted supply of materials and services supporting current and future business needs.Develop High-Performing, Inclusive Teams
Attract, retain, and develop a diverse team through effective training, succession planning, and performance management. Champion Abbott’s culture by fostering engagement, collaboration, and inclusion.Drive Operational & Financial Performance
Manage departmental budgets and key performance indicators, ensuring alignment with site and divisional financial objectives.Ensure Demand & Supply Alignment
Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, procurement, and planning teams to deliver products on time and in full while achieving site volume and inventory targets.Optimize Production & Supply Planning
Oversee site scheduling to balance customer demand, operational priorities, and capacity constraints. Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain continuity of supply.Execute S&OP Strategy
Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process with a long-term (24-month) horizon, ensuring alignment of demand forecasts, supply plans, and business objectives.Strengthen Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure efficient purchasing, receiving, and distribution processes across the site.Enhance Inventory & Systems Management
Oversee inventory control systems to ensure accurate tracking of purchase orders, inventory levels, and production requirements, driving data integrity and operational visibility.Ensure Regulatory & Quality Compliance
Maintain full compliance with Abbott standards and all applicable regulations, including FDA, OSHA, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, operations or related field preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience supply chain, distribution or logistics
- Experience of people leadership in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is required.
- Knowledge of forecasting and budgeting processes and supply chain/inventory management systems such as Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- APICS certification preferred

The base pay for this position is $129,300.00 – $258,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
