Courses May Include: Teachers of Tomorrow

Applicants must hold (or be eligible to obtain) a CTE teaching certificate with the appropriate 3 years full-time occupational experience-based endorsements:

• V200002 CTE Family and Consumer Science Education Degree
• College program and BA Degree plus 2000 Occupational Experience other than teaching.
• Must also apply for the Residency Teacher certificate 

OR 

• apply to add the endorsement to your teacher certificate AND take and pass the basic skills test AND the content knowledge test 

OR

• V200212: Must complete an approved CTE Plan 2 Business & Industry Route Teacher preparation program
• Must submit a Bachelor's degree or higher conferral
• Verification of 6,000 hours of occupational experience as a teacher at the elementary, middle school, or secondary level

Additional Requirements

• Must hold or be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid/AED and OSHA Trainer Certifications
• Pass Criminal Background Fingerprinting with WSP and FBI
• Successfully complete OSPI required training
• Must be willing to be a CTSO advisor as part of the position.

Proof of Qualification

• Candidates must hold or be able to obtain a teaching certificate with OSPI, including the appropriate endorsement.
