You will lead the Analytical Services Department team, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality laboratory operations Drive the development of analytical methods, resource planning, and the optimization of laboratory equipment As a deputy head of laboratory, oversee all accredited testing activities and maintain the full suite of quality systems including ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 You will represent the laboratory during assessments, audits, and stakeholder interactions, ensuring strong compliance and performance In a technical capacity, deliver expert technical support and investigations for internal teams and customer sites, acting as a key point of contact Champion continuous improvement, staff development, and operational excellence across the department As a ASD Duty Holder and Tenant – Brinsworth site, be responsible and assist with any direct site wide functions that require your input
