We work with clients across the entire project life cycle — from initial planning studies through final construction and operations and maintenance services — on both traditional and alternative project-delivery options (design-build, public-private partnerships and financing).

Our Major Projects Director role within our Water Infrastructure team is an influential lead role in our Melbourne office responsible for driving team collaboration, project development and growth with key and emerging clients in our highly experienced Water Infrastructure business. This is collaborative role, with a drive to growth across our key Water clients, integrating our multidisciplinary engineering services to deliver efficiently across major programs of work.
Job Description
What will a day in the role look like?
- Support the management of key Water client relationships across Victoria and maintain regular communication with internal/external stakeholders.
- Build an understanding of client business needs, priorities and project drivers to help identify opportunities.
- Assist in coordinating client interactions and support collaboration across technical and project teams to package integrated cross-discipline engineering solutions.
- Contribute to account planning activities and help align pursuits with broader Water business objectives.
- Support business development activities, including proposal preparation, pipeline tracking and opportunity coordination.
- Work with project and operational teams to help deliver quality outcomes that meet client expectations.
- Develop strong internal relationships across business lines to support integrated service delivery.
- Monitor market and competitor activity and provide insights to support growth opportunities and client positioning.

Qualifications
What you will bring?
- Expert knowledge (ideally 15 years + experience) across the delivery of multidisciplinary Water Infrastructure projects
- Demonstrable network and deep understanding of Victorian Water Infrastructure and broader Water project frameworks.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working across multidisciplinary teams and connecting technical specialists.
- Consultative communication style with the ability to understand client needs and provide trusted advice.
- Broad understanding of project delivery across areas such as planning, approvals, flooding, drainage and infrastructure.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust in complex environments.
