Job Description
• Measure, cut and assemble cable tray and cable support systems.
• Plan new or modified installations in compliance to One-line’s, wiring drawings and
schematics, knowledge of various electrical and distribution systems architectures and capabilities.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test
equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the
problem.
• Terminate wires to circuit breakers, transformers, motors, PLC’s, fuses, relays or
other components.
• Possess basic understanding of both above grade and below grade conduit
installations.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects
and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be
hazardous.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and
fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and meggers to
ensure compatibility and safety of system.
• Obey and follow all Bilfinger Inc safety rules and policies.
