Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00am – 3:30pm). Weekend coverage as needed.

About the Role:
The Manager of a Surgery Center is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and strategic management of the facility to ensure the delivery of high-quality surgical care. This role involves coordinating clinical and administrative functions to optimize patient outcomes, staff performance, and regulatory compliance. The manager leads a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative environment that supports continuous improvement and patient safety. They are accountable for budgeting, resource allocation, and maintaining accreditation standards while driving operational efficiency. Ultimately, the manager ensures that the surgery center operates smoothly, meets all healthcare regulations, and provides an exceptional patient experience. This position works alongside their team within the surgery center.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise all aspects of surgery center operations, including scheduling, staffing, and patient flow management.
- Collaborate with Clinical Manager and IVF Lab Leadership monitoring volumes.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, accreditation requirements, and safety standards.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to maintain high standards of clinical care.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and oversee staff training and development programs.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement of medical supplies and equipment.
- Address patient concerns and work to enhance patient satisfaction and experience.
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree (or higher) in nursing required.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
- Current ALS and BLS certification required.
- 2+ years’ experience in a Clinical Manager or Nurse manager role.
- 2+ years’ experience in women’s health, fertility, or OB/GYN.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous inpatient and outpatient surgery center experience.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare IT solutions.
- Background in quality improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Previous experience managing budgets and financial planning in a healthcare environment.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are essential for managing complex scheduling, resource allocation, and compliance challenges. Financial acumen is applied to budget management and cost control, ensuring the center operates within financial parameters while maintaining quality care. Additionally, proficiency with healthcare technology and data analysis supports informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
